Manage Growth

Manage delivery of 2021 road bond projects on time and on budget
Collect and utilize transportation impact fees to make new growth pay for itself
Complete expansion of Northlake Water Treatment Plant and construction of new Southlake Water Treatment Plant to provide more treated water for the community
Contract for new ground water to provide long term raw water resources
Update Unified Development Code and Downtown Master Plan to ensure high quality growth throughout the downtown area and the entire city

Maintain Public Safety

Hire and retain police, fire, and EMS personnel to keep Georgetown a safe and secure place to live
Continue implementation of Georgetown Police Department K9 Unit, indoor firing range training facility, and new fire and EMS facilities

Economic Development

Recruit and retain businesses that provide a range of job opportunities for our community
Increase sales tax revenue and commercial property tax base to maintain low property tax rates

Josh is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where his practice focuses on assisting clients in wide range of transactional business matters, from formation to operation to sale, with a particular emphasis on real estate development. Josh also represents numerous nonprofit organizations in their formation and operation.

Having grown up in Taylor, Texas, Josh graduated with a B.A. with honors, from The University of Texas at Austin, in 1998. He received his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, 2002.

Josh has been married to Ashley Schroeder for seventeen years, and they have three children in Georgetown ISD.
